MLA Michael Lee calls for return of school liaison officers

Today in the B.C. Legislature, BC United MLA for Vancouver-Langara and Shadow Minister for the Attorney General, Michael Lee, called for the return of School Liaison Officers to address the recent safety concerns of kids in British Columbia’s schools.

Highlighting recent increases in youth-targeted gang recruitment and other safety concerns, Lee underscored the critical role School Liaison Officers play in maintaining safe educational environments and fostering positive relationships between students and law enforcement.
